Superior Public Museums Board

Superior Public Museums stands as a beacon of culture and history in the City of Superior. Under the careful management of the Superior Public Museums Group, a distinguished nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, the museums thrive as vital centers of learning and engagement. Our operations are aligned with the city’s vision and are governed by the framework established in Wisconsin Laws 1961, Chapter 91 and the Superior legislative code.

Executive Director – Currently Vacant

The Executive Director is one of two full-time positions at Superior Public Museums. This position is currently vacant.

Museum Manager – Jordan Stish, MA

Jordan Stish (she/her) has been serving in the role of Museum Manager since July 2024. She earned her bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Wisconsin-Superior in 2021 and her graduate degree in Public History from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2023. Jordan has worked at various cultural and historical institutions including the Minnesota History Center, the Minnesota Discovery Center, Chippewa Falls Parks and Recreation Department and the Hibbing Historical Society. In addition to her work at Superior Public Museums, Jordan is a published author, Senior Lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Superior, and Co-President of the League of Women Voters of Douglas County, WI. When she isn’t working, Jordan enjoys watching baseball games, gardening, and spending time with her family.
