Tapestry Unveiled – Date changed from April 14 to May 5

May 5, 2022 @ 6:00 pm 8:00 pm

For years, the 18th century “Le Marchand de Plaisir” tapestry that was purchased by the Pattison family on a trip to Europe in the late 1890’s was deemed lost. It made its re-appearance in 2019 when a representative with both Superior Public Museums & Douglas County Historical Society discovered it in storage at DCHS. This tapestry hung on the landing wall in Fairlawn while the family lived here. SPM, along with DCHS, will allow visitors to see the over 240 year old tapestry in person for the first time in over 30 years. All proceeds will benefit the much needed restoration & preservation to once again display the tapestry in the mansion. Please register online or call 715-394-5712.

Live music will be played by Similar Dogs with refreshments from Keyport Liquor & Rich’s Cuisine.

$15 Per person
